GAB was engaged by the Central Coast Council to complete refurbishment of the East Gosford 22m Diameter x 13m High & Avoca Heights 9m Diameter x 15m High reservoirs, The project involved full internal re-lining of both tanks and the full removal and replacement of the Avoca Heights tank roof, The roof was replaced with a new fully aluminium roof with working platform, The Avoca Heights tank also had all the existing internal mild steel ladder removed and replaced with new FRP ladder and stainless steel platform.
Internal Coating East Gosford Tank
GAB Commence United Fuel tanks for Decmil the project involves external coating of 2 X 47m Diameter X 15m high diesel storage tanks the are receiving a 3 coat system supplied by PPG the project is scheduled to be complete by late February- early March.
United Fuel Tanks Hastings
GAB was engaged to undertake refurbishment works on the Mulwala Water Tank No2 in NSW in 2016, The project involved stripping the existing coating system that had failed and supply a new 3 coat system. The works involved stripping some 2000 sqm of aged coating from the tank, GAB understood the clients strict environmental policies and put forward the method of using a robotic Ultra High Pressure water crawler unit to strip the existing coating using 40,000psi UHP, The project was completed with contaminants and waste removed and disposed offsite.
Mulwala Tank No2
The work required under this Contract involves the repair and refurbishment of two (2) existing steel reservoirs located at East Gosford and Avoca Heights, for the Central Coast Council.
The project will be undertaken over 20 weeks from August-November.
Avoca Heights Tank
Epping North tank was commence in March 2016.The 12ML tank was required as for potable water. The tank was constructed of mild steel and is approximately 43.0m Diameter X 9.00m High with a steel structure roof covered in aluminium cladding. The project involves internal & external coating of the tank as well as applying a boot seal on the base of the tank, This will be the 7th tank coated for Yarra Valley Water.

Viva energy engaged Brockman & GAB to perform building and Coating of New process tank at the Geelong refinery the tank has a floating roof and is 34.2m Diameter X 18m High, The project will be complete in mid 2016.
Primed Tank 17 Geelong Refinery
G.A.B have been awarded Tender No.T04/14/15 Repainting of Interior/Exterior of Barooga Raw Water Reservoir for the Berrigan Shire, G.A.B are set to mobilize and commence works mid-late August the works involve abrasive blasting & re-coating all internal surfaces as well as external wash down and re-coating.
Pictured below are some 32 mm plates for the Palmerston South Elevated Tank to be built in the Northern Territory, On completion the Elevated tank will be 40 metres high & 28.5 metres in diameter, The project involves abrasive blasting & pre-fabrication coating prior to transporting to Northern Territory the plates pictured below are 32 mm thick and weigh over 4.5 ton.
The project involves Corrosion treatment & protective coating of Port fairy Water Tank. The Tank will be inspected, Mechanical works, Abrasive blasted and a new internal protective coating system applied to internal & external surfaces. The tank will undergo quality assurance testing to ensure the tank meet’s the criteria set in the Wannon Water specification.

GAB & UCC have combined to undertake one of the largest coating projects nationally supported by PPG protective coatings to supply over 100,000 litres the project was to apply 1500 microns of UHB epoxy to 45,000 sqm of sheet pile for the the Port Of Melbourne Webb Dock expansion, Sigmashield 880XS was applied using Graco plural component technology, over 800 sheets have been coated to date, G.A.B has also transport ed 17,000 sqm of sheets to site.
